Special Care Services, Inc. was founded in 2004 after double hurricanes struck the Treasure Coast. Seeing a need for quality, compassionate in-home assistance and having the desire to want to help the elderly residents of the Treasure Coast, Rose Ann Campellone set out to make a difference.
Mrs. Campellone is a Social Entrepreneur and Gerontologist. She holds an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Empire State College, in Child Development and Counseling Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree also from SUNY Empire State College in Human Development with a minor in Developmental Neuropsychology, and a Master of Arts Degree in Gerontology from Nova Southeastern University. Mrs. Campellone studied Physician Assistant studies at Miami Dade College, and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Professional Geriatric Care Manager.
Currently Mrs. Campellone is a doctoral candidate at Arizona State University studying for a Doctorate in Behavioral Health.
With over twenty four years’ experience in the healthcare field, her knowledge and understanding of disease and illness has enabled Mrs. Campellone to development training programs tailored to the special needs of the elderly clients she serves. She has a personal connection with every client, giving “Special Care to Special People” throughout the Treasure Coast.
