According to the The National Institute on Aging, many people worry about becoming forgetful as they age. They think it is the first sign of Alzheimer’s disease. But forgetfulness can be a normal part of aging.
A joint research initiative from the The National Alliance of Caregiving (NAC) and the AARP Public Policy Institute entitled Caregiving in the U.S. 2015 - Focused Look at Caregivers of Adults Age 50+ which was published in June 2015, states the follow:
